Monalisa Group Co., Ltd. (“Monalisa”) was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Foshan, Guangdong Province. It is a high-tech listed company integrating R&D, creative design, production, and marketing of architectural ceramics. The Group owns ten holding subsidiaries and four modern production bases located in Xiqiao (Foshan), Qingyuan (Guangdong), Tengxian (Guangxi), and Gao’an (Jiangxi), with a total of 37 production lines. Its products include ceramic tiles, ceramic slabs (thin plates, large plates, rock plates), and porcelain art paintings, which are used in residential and public building decorations, as well as in curtain wall engineering, prefabricated buildings, and customized home furnishings. Monalisa operates three brands: “Monalisa”, “QD”, and “Merqi”, with over 4,000 authorized franchised stores and marketing outlets nationwide. It has established strategic partnerships with nearly 100 major real estate developers such as Country Garden, Vanke, POLY, and COLI. The company has participated in key projects including eight venues of the Beijing Olympic Games, ten venues of the Guangzhou Asian Games, and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It was also the designated ceramic tile supplier for the China Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and the exclusive supplier of official architectural ceramics for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
Driven by innovation, Monalisa leverages platforms such as the National Enterprise Technology Center and the Postdoctoral Research Workstation, achieving significant results in R&D, design, production, and environmental protection. As of June 2021, the Group has participated in the drafting of 49 national, industrial, local, and group standards, and obtained 892 authorized patents (including 145 invention patents). It has launched innovative products such as ceramic thin plates, lightweight plates, large plates, and rock plates. The 1800×900×5.5(mm) large ceramic thin plate, introduced in 2007, won the first prize of the China Building Materials Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2021, Monalisa launched the 9000×1800×10.5(mm) ultra-large ceramic plate, setting a new record in China’s ceramic industry.
Monalisa implements the “3M” quality management model. It has received the Foshan Municipal Government Quality Award, Guangdong Provincial Government Quality Award, and the nomination award of the 3rd China Quality Award. The company has obtained 15 certifications including ISO9001, ISO14001, and has been rated as a “Five-star Standardization Good Practice Enterprise”. Committed to green design, manufacturing, and application, Monalisa achieves resource and energy conservation, waste residue recycling, and zero wastewater discharge. It has been recognized as a national “Resource-saving and Environment-friendly” pilot enterprise, and one of the first batch of “Green Factories” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.Monalisa actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility. It has participated in the “100 Enterprises Supporting 100 Villages” poverty alleviation program, donated over RMB 2 million for COVID-19 relief in 2020, and RMB 1 million for flood relief and post-disaster reconstruction in Henan in 2021.
