Our black electrophoretic coating (E-coating) provides superior corrosion resistance with over 1,000 hours of neutral salt spray testing (NSS). The coating achieves 360° uniform coverage on complex geometries, ensuring no dead corners. Film thickness is precisely controlled within ±1µm (15-25µm standard). Water-based and eco-friendly, it meets RoHS standards. Suitable for carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum, magnesium, and zinc alloys. Standard black E-coating is available in matte or glossy finish. Thickness and color can be customized per customer requirements. We also offer variants for different substrates: zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, and stamping parts.
The coating is based on acrylic/epoxy resin (water-based). It forms a dense cross-linked structure that bonds molecularly with the metal substrate, providing excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance.
Common applications include automotive fasteners, chassis components, body frames, door hinges, engine brackets, electric motor housings, bicycle accessories, cooling fans, die-cast parts, CNC machined parts, and metal stamping parts.
