Product Summary: Our magnetic temperature compensation Permalloy series includes grades 1J30, 1J31, 1J32, 1J33, and 1J38, designed to provide linear adjustable magnetic permeability with temperature. These alloys automatically compensate for magnetic drift caused by temperature fluctuations, ensuring constant instrument accuracy in automotive, aerospace, and industrial measurement applications. Operating range -60°C to 150°C.

An automotive OEM used 1J31 in their dashboard meters to compensate magnetic drift from -40°C to 85°C. The result was consistent accuracy with less than 1% error over the temperature range, improving reliability.
