AKD reacts chemically with cellulose fiber to lock long-term hydrophobic performance, while SAE forms tough continuous film on paper surface to reinforce surface structure, realizing dual upgrading of water resistance and surface strength with one composite product. Overcome the inherent shortcoming of slow curing of pure AKD emulsion. The SAE component fixes the sizing effect instantly after drying, finished paper can be directly rolled and delivered without long curing period, accelerate finished paper turnover and warehouse circulation efficiency. Make up for the weakness of insufficient surface dry strength of single AKD sizing agent. Effectively restrain paper linting, picking and ink feathering during high-speed offset printing, obviously upgrade the printing adaptability of cultural paper and packaging paper. Perfectly blend with oxidized starch and modified starch for surface sizing. The composite system crosslinks evenly on paper surface to seal fiber gaps thoroughly, eliminate local water absorption difference and ensure consistent sizing effect of the whole paper web. The compact composite coating can block the penetration of external moisture, slow down the moisture reversion of finished paper in high humidity environment, avoid strength attenuation and paper softening caused by moisture absorption for finished paper stock. Designed for neutral papermaking system, no acidic components will cause corrosion to drying cylinders, sizing rollers and other metal equipment, good compatibility with retention aid, defoamer and other wet-end chemicals without flocculation failure. Replace the separate purchasing and dosing of AKD emulsion and SAE sizing agent, simplify workshop dosing process.
